Advanced Facials & Skin Treatments
Healthy Skin Starts With Understanding Your Skin
At Freya, we don't believe healthy skin comes from one miracle product or one facial.
Every week we meet people who have spent hundreds of euro on skincare, trying product after product with little or no improvement. They've been told to use another cleanser, another serum or another moisturiser, yet they're still frustrated with their skin.
The truth is, healthy skin is rarely that simple.
Whether you're concerned about acne, pigmentation, redness, sensitivity or signs of ageing, the first step isn't choosing a facial.
It's understanding why your skin is behaving the way it is.
That's where we start.
Our Approach To Healthy Skin
Every person's skin is different.
Two people can walk into the clinic with what looks like the same concern and need completely different treatment plans.
That's why we never recommend treatments based on a quick look at your skin.
We start by understanding the bigger picture.
One of the first questions we'll ask is:
"Are you here to relax, or are you here because you're trying to improve your skin?"
The answer changes everything.
If you're looking to relax, we'll recommend treatments that help you unwind.
If you're trying to improve your skin, our focus shifts to understanding what's causing the problem before deciding how to treat it.
We Start With Questions
Before recommending a treatment we'll usually ask about:
- Your current skincare routine.
- The products you're using.
- Previous facials or skin treatments.
- Makeup products, where appropriate.
- Your skin goals.
- Lifestyle factors that may be affecting your skin.
Sometimes we'll ask you to bring your skincare products with you.
Looking at the ingredients and understanding how you're using them often tells us more than looking at your skin alone.
Sometimes The Best Treatment Is Waiting
Not every client is ready for an advanced facial.
Sometimes we find the skin barrier has become irritated from using too many active products or products that simply aren't right for that person's skin.
In those cases, the best advice isn't another treatment.
It's giving your skin time to recover.
That may mean simplifying your skincare routine before introducing stronger treatments such as chemical peels or microneedling.
It isn't always what people expect to hear, but we've found it gives much better long-term results.
If we believe waiting will give you a better outcome, we'll tell you honestly.
Professional Treatments Are Only Part Of The Journey
Advanced facials can achieve fantastic results when they're used at the right time and for the right reason.
But no professional treatment replaces what happens every day at home.
Healthy skin is built through consistency.
The products you use, how you care for your skin between appointments and your daily habits all contribute to the results you achieve.
Sometimes we'll recommend products.
Sometimes we'll recommend using fewer.
Our goal isn't to sell you more.
Our goal is to help you understand your skin and make informed decisions about caring for it.
Honest Advice Comes First
One of the comments we hear most often is:
"You explained my skin better than anyone ever has."
We believe education is just as important as treatment.
If we think a facial will help, we'll explain why.
If we don't think it's the right time, we'll explain that too.
We'd rather earn your trust than recommend a treatment that isn't going to give you the results you're hoping for.
Not Sure Which Treatment To Book?
You don't need to know.
Many of our clients aren't sure which facial is right for them, and that's completely normal.
Book a Skin Consultation and we'll assess your skin, explain what we see and recommend the treatment we genuinely believe is best for your skin.
Our goal isn't to sell you the most expensive facial.
It's to recommend the right treatment.
Our Advanced Facial Treatments
Every treatment we offer has been chosen because it serves a purpose.
Some treatments focus on repairing the skin barrier.
Some improve acne and congestion.
Some target pigmentation.
Others stimulate collagen or improve skin texture.
The right treatment depends on your skinโnot what's currently trending.
