    For intimate waxing, there’s no need to feel awkward. It’s a professional treatment and something we do regularly.

▣ Before your  wax

• waxing patch test is required for all new clients and anyone whose last waxing appointment with us was six months ago or longer. It must be completed at least 24 hours before your waxing appointment.
• Leave enough hair growth for the wax to grip properly. If you’re unsure, don’t trim it too short before your appointment.
• Gently exfoliate the area before your wax.
• Avoid heavy lotions, oils or heavily fragranced products on the area on the day of your appointment.
• Let us know if you are taking medication or using skincare that may make your skin more sensitive.

✿ What happens during the treatment?

We’ll confirm the areas you’ve booked and check your skin before starting. We’ll explain how to position yourself and only uncover the area being treated.

For intimate waxing, you’ll need to remove your underwear where required. We keep everything professional and straightforward.

We use professional Harley Wax and work efficiently. Waxing can be uncomfortable, especially the first time, but we’ll guide you through the treatment.

♡ Aftercare

• Your skin may look red or feel warm immediately after waxing.
• Avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming, intense exercise and excessive heat for 24–48 hours.
• Avoid sunbathing and tanning beds for 24–48 hours.
• Avoid perfumed or heavily fragranced products on the waxed area while the skin is settling.
• Moisturise the area regularly.
• Once the skin has settled, exfoliate around once a week to help reduce ingrown hairs.

 How long does male waxing last? 

Most of our regular male waxing clients book around every 6–8 weeks, although everyone’s hair growth is different.

If you have been shaving, your first few waxes can have hair growing at different stages. As you continue waxing regularly, your appointments usually become easier to maintain.

Do I need a patch test for male waxing?

How long should the hair be before waxing?

The hair needs enough length for the wax to grip properly.

If you’re unsure, leave it rather than shaving or trimming it too short before your appointment.

Does male waxing hurt?

You will feel the hair being removed, so there can be some discomfort.

Small areas are usually very quick, while larger areas take a little longer. We work efficiently so the treatment isn’t dragged out.

Can I wax my face if I use strong skincare?

Some skincare and medication can make the skin more sensitive.

Tell us what you are using before treatment. If there is any concern about the skin being too sensitive to wax safely, we may advise against waxing that area.

How often should I wax?

For many body areas, around 6–8 weeks works well.

Facial hair can grow differently, so the best timing may vary depending on the area and your own growth.

Can I exercise after waxing?

We recommend avoiding intense exercise for 24–48 hours, especially if the skin is still warm or irritated

Can I sunbathe after waxing?
